Photo Realistic Animation

A really impressive demonstration I saw a few months ago that shows how animation is advancing and becoming increasingly more realistic with new technology.

I saw this a while back but I thought Multimedia students might find it interesting if they were unaware of the theory XD

I still don't really have any of my own work to post here so I thought I'd share a few brief words on a movie I recently saw which I thought would be relevant as it's an animated movie.

The movie is 'UP' created by none other than Pixar animation studios and follows the adventure of 78 year old Carl Fredricksen who sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America, now he's the weird bit...by tying thousands of balloons to his house and floating there. As always Pixar have created a strange concept for their movie and as always they make it work, it's not their best work in my opinion but it still has that Pixar magic that all their films include, so go see it! And support great animation.
